PATIENCE IS THE KEY!

Natalie had a fever yesterday morning when she woke up so we brought her into the hospital. They admitted her and today confirmed she has an infection in her blood. They are treating her with IV antibiotics. She has felt terrible yesterday and today. She has an upset stomach and no appetite. They said she should feel a lot better tomorrow. That's where the patience comes in. I hate that I can't help her and it is so hard to see her feeling miserable. I know tomorrow will be a better day. Not sure yet how long we will be here. Hopefully not too long, the bed stinks!
Please pray for quick results from the meds. and that Natalie is smiling again soon. She is so amazing!

  1. I am so sorry! I cry when my children are sick. It's depressing to see them hurt and know that there is nothing physically you can do for them...except love them, & hold them. So many times, I have to just turn it over to the Lord and trust that He will take care of them for me. It is in God's hands...fortunately He places others along our path to help (doctors, stangers, friends, family etc.)I am so grateful for all of the friends, family, medical people, strangers, etc. that helped us through Waylon's accident. I can't imagine what you and your family are experiencing right now...I do know that the Lord does not give us trials that He knows we can't handle. I am begining to recognize that often, during trials that are so difficult, a very loving Heavenly Father gently picks us up and carries until we can again walk. Natalie is inspiring! She will pull through all of this because she has a wonderful, loving family whom supports her every step of the way! Isn't it great to have family? We have so enjoyed your friendship and feel quite blessed to have had the opportunity to get to know all of you over the years. Thank you for the support during our trial...I pray we can be the same kind of friends and support through yours. Know that we are praying for Natalie and for all of you too! Lots and Lots of Love,

  2. BUMMER!! I hate that so much. I know how much the bed stinks!! and want you guys to get home as soon as possible. We are thinking about the two of you and I pray for the good lord to continue taking care of our kids to get them through this everyday and night.

Jakes counts have dropped so we are back in the germ-aphob mind set. He finished the ARA-C for this round yesterday and gets the PEG and Vincristine on Monday- Oh yippee:)

Hang in there you two- this too shall pass.
